Figurative Paintings

A vast collection of nude paintings, all in oil on hand-stretched canvases. My painting journey began with an enquiry into the female form, influenced by my love of life modelling and life drawing. This progressed as my influences changed, examining the relationship between my brush strokes and the presentation of flesh. Inspired by artists such as Tracey Emin, Jenny Saville, Lucian Freud and Francis Bacon, my figurative paintings demonstrate my progression as I became more skilled and confident with the medium of oil painting.
